Mandy Takhar is a British actress of Indian descent who works in Indian cinema, mostly in Punjabi films but sometimes in Hindi and Tamil. Mandy relocated to Mumbai and secured a role in the 2010 film Ekam - Son of Soil, opposite famed Punjabi singer Babbu Mann. In the film Mirza - The Untold Story, she played the lead opposite superstar Gippy Grewal. In this modern rendition of Mirza-love Sahiba's story, she plays Sahiba. At the PTC Punjabi Film Awards, she was nominated for best actress for her depiction of Sahiba.
